The aims and core principles of the Football Club is following the True-Halls-Spirit
The TrueHallsSpirit defines our 100 year old Club, when in 1919 we were formed as the premier sports team of the J&E Hall empire in Dartford. The engineering and manufacturing company developed their sporting & social home with dozens of clubs, groups and societies.
A shared spirit was formed. The employees and various groups worked together to be ambitious and more creative with the facility… and they first included the wider local community of Dartford. They developed ideas, sparked debate and pulled resources to offer more, and offer better. A community spirit was formed. A family was born. A vested interest, shared values and raw teamwork was the basis of everything WE did at Halls. Generations passed, and our principles strengthened. A winning spirit was formed. And very quickly, we found that winning is not all about the black and white results; winning was improvement; winning is development, and we were developing. Developing a bigger, wider family, developing each other within it, and developing ourselves. This is the TrueHallsSpirit !
Billy is the Manager of the Senior First Team at the Club, progressing through his FA Coaching badges including new FA Youth Module Awards whilst coaching within our junior teams and is still the current Manager of the Under 15s team which he started 9 years ago.
Briefly working abroad in the United States of America inspired Billy to move into teaching, and he attained his QTS status and is now a specialist PE teacher in a Secondary School.
He took the role as Senior First Team Manager in August 2017, and within his first season he led the team to their highest ever placed finish within the Kent County Football League, and scooped the Hospital Charity Cup in his second season. The future is bright, as Billy continues to work with young players being promoted from our Under 18s, Under 21s and Reserve Teams’.
